James Brice has been a prominent member of the musical community of Sydney for over 20 years. He is a specialist tutor, soloist, lecturer, recording artist, producer, conductor and adjudicator. He produced his first professional recording in 1995, and has been a member of the R.A.A.F Air Command Band, and has performed at the Sydney Olympics Closing Ceremony and the Gallipoli ANZAC Commemoration Service. He is musical director of the Castle Hill RSL Youth Band and the North West Wind Ensemble, as well as being Director of Instrumental Performance at Knox Grammar School. He has lead the two aforementioned bands and the Knox Symphonic Wind Ensemble (of which members of our project are a part of), to State and National success at the highest level. His most recent act of leadership has been conducting the NSW State Youth Orchestra, where the top young musicians from across the state were brought together to showcase their talent.
