Dan Schofield - Team Leader

Dan Schofield is the team leader for our Cyberfair Project this year and has done an exemplary job in leading, organizing and motivating the team as well as being a very hard working person in this project. He has also played a major role in IT in helping set up the actual website (the Wix account we used was his own). Dan also worked in the ‘health’ and ‘science’ topics for our project, being responsible for finding the guest to interview in ‘health’ (his granddad Professor Tiller), writing blurbs for them as well as helping set up the respective pages for the two topics. Also, he has also done other general tasks such as editing interviews, writing blurbs and information on the website and editing. Dan is to be commended for his excellent leadership and dedication to this task.

Jerson Balaton:

Jerson Balaton is a member of the Cyberfair Project this year and has done a great job overall in working on the ‘politics’ topic for our project, helping write the Project Narrative and other general tasks. He has done a great job in politics, helping brainstorm a list of local political leaders, write blurbs for them as well as help set up the page for politics. Jerson also helped write the Project Narrative for our project. In addition, he has also helped carry out other general tasks such as editing interviews and also setting up the actual environment for the interviews.

Alex Cross:

Alex Cross is a member of the Cyberfair Project and worked on the ‘science’ topic for our project and also carried out other general tasks. Alex was the main interviewer for the project, interviewing Mr Alsop, Mr Thomas, Professor Tiller and Mr Stokes.  He brought in his granddad (Mr Alsop) and a colleague of him to interview for science, as well as writing information and helping set up the page for science. In addition, he also did some other general tasks such as editing interviews, general editing on the website and also welcoming the guests to Knox for the interviews alongside Dan. 

Christian Holman:

Christian Holman is a member of the Cyberfair Project and worked on the ‘sports’ topic for our project and helping out with general tasks. Christian sought out the interviewees with major sportsmen in our local area and carried out these interviews, as well as helping put together the sports page. In addition, he also helped with editing interviews and also assisting other members with their tasks overall.

Ashley Kwok:

Ashley Kwok played a leading role in writing the Project Narrative, working on the sports and religion topic areas and also helping out with general tasks in our Cyberfair Project. He directed the work on the Project Narrative and also did most of the work there. He also helped Christian with working on sports in editing interviews and writing blurbs as well as getting the interviews on religion, writing blurbs and information for it and also putting together those two pages. In addition, Ashley also did many general tasks such as editing and writing transcripts to interviews and also generally helping overall (such as helping Jerson set up the interview environment).

Michael Liu:

Michael Liu is a member of the Cyberfair Team who worked on the art, environment and health topic areas as well as doing many general tasks. He got all of the multiple interviews for the Art category (getting the most interviews out of all of us) by himself, as well as helping put together the pages for environment, health (helping Dan out in health) and art and also writing information on those pages. In addition, he also helped out with many other general tasks such as editing interview and editing the website. Michael was an excellent team member who contributed greatly overall.



Johnson Man:

Johnson Man is a member of the Cyberfair Team who worked on the politics and education topic areas, Project Narrative, general tasks and the blurbs on each team member. He interviewed Mr Weeks and Mrs Yager for education, and also wrote blurbs and information for the politics and education pages and helped set up those respective pages. In addition, he also assisted Ashley and Jerson with the Project Narrative. Finally, Johnson also worked on general tasks such as editing interviews and getting transcripts, working on the final website and also putting together these blurbs on team members.

Lachlan Mitchell:​
Lachlan Mitchell worked on the education topic area as well as working on some general tasks. He worked on the education topic area by assisting with the interviews for Mrs Yager and Mr Weeks, helping write some information on the education page and helping put it together. In addition, he also worked on some other general tasks such as editing lots of video interviews, writing the transcripts to these videos and also helping generally in the project. Lachlan also did a tremendous amount of work in putting together the final website and played a major role in editing it.



Alex Neave:

Alex Neave worked on the politics topic area, the Project Narrative and also some general tasks as a member of the Cyberfair Team. He worked on the politics topic area by helping ring up politicians for interviews, writing blurbs for the politics page and also helping put together graphics on that page. In addition, he also worked closely with Johnson to work on the Project Narrative together with Ashley and Jerson. Finally, he also worked on many other general tasks such as getting the transcripts of interviews and helping out overall in the project.



Giacomo Rotolo-Ross:

Giacomo was a very important team member, using his experience from winning Platinum in Cyberfair 2012. He worked on the education topic area by assisting with the interviews for Mrs Yager and Mr Weeks, helping write some information on the education page and helping put it together. He also helped interview Mr James Brice and Dr Dan Lunney for art and environment. He  has contributed greatly in this project designing the website and has enjoyed learning as much about our community as possible!
